I Know What I Did Yesterday…

Posted on Updated on

You entered into our lives all shiny and white, proudly standing at attention ready for action at a moment’s notice.

You’ve taken care of the children when they were toddlers, and they have now blossomed into young adults.

You’ve followed us to new places and demonstrated your undying service for the entire family.

Alas, July 9 2013, you have signed in for the the last time.

To our wonderful 10kg Toshiba washing machine, I thank you from the bottom of my heart the 8 years of service you have rendered faithfully.

So now, I have to make trips to the nearest laundromat to ensure our routine is not significantly affected 😦

After searching on the Net for the neighborhood laundry stop, found one with it’s own FB page (not many companies bother to have them in my neck of the woods!)

Yay for Dobidoo!!

And it’s open 24hrs!! πŸ™‚
Coin changer machine AND whatchamaccallits (machines accept new 50sen coins only)
Presenting the Whatchamaccallits
Hmmm, not bad…
Six machines in a row πŸ™‚
Can’t REALLY go wrong with all the help shown on the machine itself
Decided to take just a few items out of the pile before transferring the load into the dryer… wouldn’t want to have a “new” pair of jeans two sizes smaller!
The yellow line marked on the window is maximum load allowed in the dryer.
THERE’S WIFI!! I can stay “connected” to the rest of the world while waiting for my laundry πŸ˜€
…Or, if you fancy a refreshing haircut/ scalp massage, you can pop into the barber that shares the same lot as Dobidoo (ie. smart move)

I think my bedsheets need to be changed… so do the kids’ πŸ™‚
