Beneath the shades of the Lotus…

Ever since the grandeur of Singapore’s latest architectural jewel was introduced to the world, The Marina Bay Sands  shot to stardom in the league of structural icons. While walking within the shopping area alone, I couldn’t stop thinking “how in the world did they see this on paper?”. To say MBS is a labyrinth is an understatement.

And when I first glanced at The ArtScience Museum, I thought it looked like a lotus.

Why a lotus? Next to an ultra-modern homage to Stonehenge?

Thankfully, my friend and I stumbled upon the “Behind-The-Scenes” tableau of The ArtScience Museum on the top-most exhibition floor during my most recent visit there.

Peeking into the minds of architects is ALWAYS a privilege🙂 …

Not only does The ArtScience Museum looks AMAZING externally, we get to enjoy the beauty outside, from the inside too…
